Former fashion model Emica Penklis, the chocolatier behind high-end chocolate Loco Love, and her husband Jesse Lawrence have bought at Suffolk Park.

The recently married couple paid $715,000 for a 1985-built home just south of the Byron Bay township.

It was marketed as Suffolk Park’s most affordable home when snapped up by the couple just eight days into its marketing.

First National Byron Bay agent Oliver Aldridge secured the quick sale.

Penklis, who is expecting her first child, shared the house purchase on her Instagram.

“Also this happened … let the nesting begin, finally a home to call our own,” she captioned a picture of the sold sign.

Penklis, who grew up in Byron, founded Loco Love in 2013 using ethically sourced fair-trade and organic cacao from Peru.

Set on 325 square metres, the brick-built home with high-raked ceilings has three bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space.
