Mirvac has reportedly beaten rival Lend Lease to enter due diligence to potentially purchase the Harbourside shopping centre in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

The estimated price has been put at around $275 million, by the Australian Financial Review for the 20,500-square-metre property, owned by developer John Beville.

Jonathan Fox from agents Stonebridge said all parties expressing interest in Harbourside saw a chance of value adding.

The process is expected to take several months.
