Melbourne IT Group chairman Gail Pemberton sells 1880s cottage

The Melbourne IT Group chairman Gail Pemberton has sold Anjele, her 1880s weatherboard cottage at Burrawang.

Wrapped in decking on 1,230 sqm, the three bedroom, two bathroom Hoddle Street home fetched $1.3 million.

It came with a price guide of $1.4 million.

Pemberton has renovated and extended the Burrawang home since paying $830,000 in 2010.

There's an artist studio above the garage.

Prices in Burrawang have ranged from $320,000 for a vacant lot to $2.6 million this year.

Pemberton, who was previously the chairperson of the property website, Onthehouse Holdings, is a director at Paypal.
