An infill development site in Melbourne’s eastern corridor, a 9.22 hectare parcel coined ‘Norvel Estate’ at Norvel Road in Ferntree Gully is up for sale by an expression of interest through CBRE for around $30 million.

The site offers views of the Dandenong Ranges, vast frontages and multiple access points and features urban bush land untouched for more than 50 years under the ownership of one family.

CBRE’s Scott Orchard said the property was identified as a strategic development site under the Knox Housing Strategy Amendment C131with potential for a staged approach.

“All the hard environmental, geotechnical plus advanced conceptual work has been done, providing an opportunity that developers can capitalise on quickly,” he said.

“The site benefits from close proximity to acclaimed recreation and lifestyle attractions, including the Dandenong Ranges’ 1000 steps, Puffing Billy Railway, Waterford Valley Golf Course, plus Westfield Knox Shopping Centre and nearby train stations.

The site is being offered for sale by international expressions of interest closing Thursday 1st September
