Treasurer Dominic Perrottet has announced the 2020-21 NSW Budget will be handed down on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

The Budget was deferred in March following a recommendation by the National Cabinet of Commonwealth, State and Territory leaders.

“Our focus over the last six months has been on protecting the lives of the people of NSW during this pandemic as well as sustaining their livelihoods,” Mr Perrottet said.

“Our priority in recovery is supporting jobs, jobs and more jobs and the 2020-21 Budget will reflect that.”

Confirmation of the Budget date comes as the NSW Government’s commitment to COVID-19 health and economic support measures approaches $16 billion.

“NSW is the engine-room for the Australian economy and we’ll light the way out of these unprecedented times.”

“We look forward to delivering for the people of NSW once again.”
