The Macquarie Radio network Russell Tate and wife Carole have secured the sale of their 47 hectare Robertson retreat.

Given his business and their family commitments rarely allowed time at the weekender, Yarrawa Glen has been sold for $3.25 million.

It had been listed with $3.5 million hopes through McKillop Property agent Cameron McKillop.

Yarrow Glen, located adjacent to the national park on the edge of the highlands, features a modern four-bedroom stone home along with its 11 paddocks.

The open-plan living and dining spaces open to wraparound verandas that overlook the grounds, which feature a solar-heated pool and tennis court with gazebo.

The Tates, who call Mosman home, spent $2.85 million on Yarrawa Glen in 2010.
