Love holidays? Here's the next best thing: 16 of Australia's best apartment pools

The beauty of apartment living is undoubtedly in its convenience and shared amenities – you can enjoy resort-style facilities year round, without having to get on a single plane. According to the 2016 Census, in just 25 years the number of occupied apartments in Australia has risen by 78%, which has also seen an increase in demand for a greater offering of luxury amenities.

With Australian summers reaching temperatures in the high 40s, a residents-only pool where you can take a refreshing swim or sip a margarita in a pool-side lounger seems like an appealing option... which raises the question, would you give up your backyard for an infinity pool?

Urban.com.au have rounded up sixteen of Australia's favourite new apartment pools on the market right now.
