AFL Swans star Lance 'Buddy' Franklin has listed his Melbourne home for November 10 Jellis Craig auction with expectations of between $1.4 million and $1.5 million.

Franklin purchased the property 10 years ago while at Hawthorn, costing $863,500 through Fletchers.

It was then marketed as a newly-built Clendon Vale Palladian-inspired executive home.

The four bedroom, three bathroom manse at 14 Woodhall Wynd, Donvale had been home to his dad, Lance Franklin senior, until he recently moved back to WA.

Franklin lives in Sydney's Rose Bay having paid $2.35 million in 2016.
