The Cremorne harbourfront residence intended by Karl Stefanovic and Cassandra Thorburn as their dream home has reportedly been sold.
Offers were being sought at $9 million plus for the ultra-contemporary three storey residence (above and below).
The property sale was secured Monday night, although remained listed on the agency website Tuesday morning.
The listing agent had declined to give the sale price.
Thorburn posted to her Instagram a picture of her with the agent at its twilight inspection.
The Cremorne property is officially held in the name of Thorburn after their split almost three years ago, but The Sunday Telegraph's Sydney Confidential reported last month the warring couple will split any profit.
The 756 sqm Wonga Road property cost the couple $8 million in 2016 when the couple lived at Lindfield where they pocketed $3.8 million.
The north-facing residence is spread over 450 square metres internal living space with lift access to all three levels.
There are balconies totally 150 sqm that look over boats towards Folly Point at
Cammeray.
The floor plan is revealed as including five bedrooms.
There are formal and informal living areas with huge fireplace.
There's a bar next to the patio barbecue.
There's a wine cellar plus an indoor pool with huge television set on its wall, plus a steam room.
There is also an inclination down to the waterfront facilities with a boat shed.
The couple never got to complete construction of its jetty.
After laying down an $800,000 deposit there was an 18-month build after which Thorburn and the couple’s three kids finally moved in in 2017, by which time Stefanovic was ensconced in a nearby home with shoe designer, Jasmine Yarbrough.
Thorburn, who has dabbled in television appearances, was a journalist and has turned to being a children's author have published her co-authored book, called Leo Lion's Big Bed! in 2018.
Stephanovic and his subsequent partner Jasmine Yarbrough wed in a lavish Mexican four-day celebration last December,The Cremorne record sits at $18.8 million for a five-level mansion.
The home was marketed as "an exceptional lifestyle opportunity."
The developer Tony Blanche has retained the non-waterfront residence above the Thorburn harbourside listing.
