A Surfers Paradise mansion on the market for almost a year has been sold for $3.55 million.

Gold Coast-based Chinese buyers bought the property which had $3.95 million price indications.

The 33 Vespa Crescent, which been on the market since last March, was designed by Jared Poole whose interior incorporates elements of stone, timber and glass.

There's a home cinema, piano nook and marina birth are among its luxury features along with a built-in teppanyaki barbecue.

Sam Guo and Julia Kuo of Ray White Broadbeach took over the marketing last July.

There had been prior $4.2 million hopes.
