The pioneering radio presenter Janadele Stewart has sold her Pyrmont penthouse, after years of being on and off the market.

The property was recently placed on the market via a soiree involving champagne and canapes with an asking price of $5.3 million to $5.5 million.

Situated at 731/8 Point Street, the apartment featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms last traded for $2,485,000 in 2003, one year after it was built.

Ayre Estate Agents Adrian Wilson, Craig Donohue and Kirsty Gardner were the successful marketers of the Mirvac-developed penthouse in the Promontory.

Featuring two separate living areas and a large entertainers’ terrace, it holds views to the Sydney Harbour.

Set on 363 square metres, the abode transacted at auction for $5.57 million, a building-record by $770,000.

Four bidders competed for the home.

It is also the current highest registered sale price for the 2009 postcode in 2019.
