Ivy Grange, one of Kew's most significant landmarks, is back up for sale.

Built in 1864 by architect Charles Vickers and constructed from bluestone, Ivy Grange operated as a successful guest house for nearly 40 years.

Original features include etched and hand-painted windows, marble fireplaces and servants' bells and cellars.

Set on 1665 sqm, the massive 41 bedroom mansion at 3 Malmsbury Street also has grand reception rooms, a conservatory room and nursery and servants' quarters.

A double storey tower with 360 degree views of the city skyline added to the original building in 1877.

Jellis Craig agents Mark Savant and Belinda Anderson have the listing.

It had previously been for sale in 2013, but couldn't find a buyer after 474 days on market.
