International fashion model Julia Nobis buys at Bondi Junction
International model Julia Nobis hasn't strayed far from her Eastern Suburbs roots when buying her first Sydney home.
The Bondi-born model, who has been a familiar face on the international runways since walking for Calvin Klein in 2010, has recently settled on an apartment in Bondi Junction.
It's an investment for Nobis, who is constantly jetting off across the world.
She spends most of her time in New York.
The 25 year old has been dubbed the most low-key Australian model, although she is arguably Australia's top high fashion international model.
Last year Nobis made the industry website The Business of Fashion's list of 500 influencers, alongside fellow Australian models Jordan Barrett and Miranda Kerr.
She's graced the cover of Vogue Italia three times and has previously been officially ranked third on the list of the world's top 50 models.
Nobis snapped up the apartment in a 1930s block in 20 days for $1,302,000, well before its scheduled auction.
She secured a $900 a week tenant, reflecting a 3.5 percent rental yield.
The standout feature of the two bedroom apartment is the pet friendly outdoor space.
There's over 100 sqm of private outdoor area with a north-facing garden.
Robin Stein-Rostaing at Laing & Simmons Bondi Junction sold the home.
Nobis has always claimed her modeling came by chance.
"Modelling never was my end goal," she told Sydney Confidential in 2014.
Discovered in 2009, Nobis has walked for Prada, Chanel, Dior, Burberry, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent to name a few.
The Rose Bay girl's pale skin and ethereal quality has seen her in international demand ever since she was discovered at the 389 bus stop in Bondi Junction wearing her school uniform.
