There also the two-storey, three-bedroom residence and guesthouse within Michael Bligh landscaped gardens with pool and floodlit tennis court.

''Heriot's undulating pastures would suit a variety of agricultural pursuits or families seeking a peaceful rural lifestyle close to the city,'' Stuart Davies said.

''The size and quality of the land are the drawcards.''

Many generations after Williams Inglis started the Inglis company in 1867, the family is still at the helm with Jamie among its directors.
