Property advisory company Savills has launched a new service for high-end residential property buyers in Western Australia. Project manager Helen Rewell will lead the initiative, which will work with developers and buyers of prestige property. One of the team’s first projects is the B43 on Burswood, a prestige apartment complex developed by Fisel.

Property investments allowed to pay commissions
Developer Stockland is allowed to continue paying commissions to its financial planners for referring potential buyers, the Australian Financial Review reports. Assistant Treasurer Bill Shorten announced on Friday that property investments would not be subject to the same bans on commissions that constrain other financial products. Stockland pays commissions to four referral services: My Adviser, Futuro Financial Services, Addwealth and Professional Investment Services.
