Iconic North Beach, Perth trophy home sold for $6.1 million

An iconic North Beach home sold for more than $6 million at auction late last year.

Mystery has surrounded the local buyer - represented by a buyer's agent with bidder card 13 - at the auction where 10 others sough to secure 157 West Coast Drive.

It sold under the hammer for $6,125,000 through Realmark agent Jason Kuriata.

It was the highest price paid for a property at auction in Perth last year, but at less than its 2011 sale price of $7.2 million.

The property had previously been on the market with another Realmark agent via private sale since early 2014 seeking $8 million plus.

Around 400 people inspected the six-bedroom, seven bathroom 2005-built home sprawling across 935 square-metres living space.

The architecturally-designed home has a six–person lift.
