Hunters Hill trophy Glen Mahr sold after price cut
Glen Mahr, the late 1800s Hunters Hill trophy home, has sold for an undisclose price.
When the home sold its price was has been cut to $6.88 million.
It initially had a $7.3 million guide.
The Margaret Street house, located on the border of Woolwich, was built by Christopher McClure, a contractor, in the 1890s.
The Sands Directory listed him living in the home.
The Victorian sandstone residence, set on over 2,015 sqm with established gardens, sits at the end of a circular drive. There's a pool in the grounds.
Last traded for $2.9 million in 2001, Glen Mahr has five bedrooms, grand formal living and dining rooms and expansive wrap around verandahs with views of the water to the bridge.
