Hollywood stunt doubles Scott McLean and Raelen Chapman are selling Nikkini Estate, their sprawling Gold Coast hinterland property.

The couple, who have appeared as stunt doubles in the likes of a number of Star Wars films, The Matrix Movies and The Hangover Part II, have called Currumbin Valley home for the last four years.

It was the during the aftermath of the Hangover Part II which inspired the move to Currumbin Valley as McLean suffered severe brain damage during the 2010 filming.

He was doubling for Ed Helms, who played Stuart in the hit film.

McLean was required to lean out of the window of a moving vehicle when his head smashed into a truck.

They moved from their beachside Coogee unit in 2015 to the acreage to help McLean's recovery. They scored $2.7 million for the three bedroom apartment they paid $2.2 million for three years earlier.

They paid $3 million for Nikkini Estate in 2015 when buying from entrepreneurs Shaun and Donna Williams, successful property developers who run landscape design projects.

Set on 3.5 hectares with mountain ranges backdrop, the main homestead has four bedrooms.

Attached to the main home are guest quarters, while a granny flat sits separate in the grounds.

The property features staged gardens, an 18 metre swimming pool, work sheds, a number of swimming ponds, a concrete dam with turtles, native fish and crayfish and a seven year old hoop pine plantation.

Nikkini Estate goes under the hammer on February 3 through LJ Hooker Palm Beach agent Mishy Canning.

Canning advises the property is be highly suited to become a health/yoga retreat, wedding venture, boutique organic fruit and vegetable store or cafe.
