Greaton’s Oxford Central in Sydney reaches its peak
Oxford Central, a multi-residential development in Sydney’s north-western suburb of Epping has officially ‘topped out’, reaching its maximum height on schedule and within the timeframe of 11 months.
Developers Greaton, Ceerose Construction and industry representatives celebrated the milestone at the summit of the 17-storey double tower complex yesterday while enjoying panoramic views of the CBD, greater Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
The 252 premium apartments sit atop a recycled brick podium, fusing modern design with the rich cultural heritage of the Epping neighbourhood.
“Using high-quality design and sustainable construction, our goal is to create exceptional places, and it’s our belief that Oxford Central achieves this objective.”
- Nicho Teng, Greaton Managing Director
Over the the course of the 11 month construction period, there were 250 construction workers on site each day, with 15,000 cubic metres of concrete and 1,500 tonnes of steel used to create the structural frame of the two towers – named Centrale and Vista.
“Ceerose has been a strong partner throughout this project and they’ve shared our vision from the outset… their professionalism and high-quality building standards have ensured we’ve reached this milestone with a minimum of fuss and right on schedule.”
- Nicho Teng, Greaton Managing Director
Designed by award-winning architectural firm Marchese Partners, the apartment complex features 292 car spaces, an open-air café, on-site BBQ and pet-friendly areas, a member only health and fitness track and lush outdoor zones designed by Taylor Brammer Landscape Architects. Indoor features include floor to ceiling sliding doors, large five burner cooktops, Caesarstone benchtops and Miele appliances.
Oxford Central's Sydney apartments will be completed ahead of the proposed Epping town centre redevelopment by the NSW government.
