Former North Melbourne AFL star turned Gold Coast Suns specialist tackling coach Andrew Swallow and wife Elise have listed their newly-rebuilt Perth home.

Swallow bought the Mosman Park house for $1.1 million in 2017 while playing in Melbourne, thinking the family would move home, however they have since headed to Byron Bay.

They've fully restored the mid 1920s cottage with the back of the house being newly built.

There are now four bedrooms, three living areas, a study and an open plan alfresco space.

It took a year to finish, with Swallow's friend from primary school Nathan Hardy handling the construction.

Ray White Claremont Dalkeith agent Vivien Yap has the listing.

Swallow was the North Melbourne captain from 2012 to 2016.
