Gaby Kennard is the latest family member of the Kennard storage clan to head north.

The aviator, who was the first Australian woman to fly around the globe, has paid $3,525,000 for a garden apartment in the development project of Jim Goldburg.

The three bedroom unit comes with its own plunge pool.

LJ Hooker Byron Bay agents Tony Farrell and Peter Yopp sold the apartment.

Gaby had a windfall result at Woolloomooloo, where she sold her Finger Wharf unit for $5.5 million to rag trader Wassim Gazal after its SJB Architects fit out.

Her move north follows her son Jim, who spent $4.15 million on a designer Coopers Shoot home.

Other son Angus recently sold in Manly to trade up to the $18 million Cremorne home, Glencoe.
