Global advertising leader Brent Smart, who recently left Saatchi & Saatchi New York to move to IAG in Sydney, has bought a house in Bondi.

Smart paid $2.5 million for the family home with wife Amanda Kennedy.

Spread over two levels, the contemporary residence has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an alfresco dining courtyard.

Raine & Horne Double Bay agent Ric Serrao and Michelle Brooks sold the home after it spent 77 days on the market.

Smart was recently named IAG's first ever chief marketing officer after being the CEO at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York for three years.
