Friday Hut Estate, the Byron Bay hinterland estate belonging to the family of Cricket Australia board member Michelle Tredenick, has been sold after the price guide was adjusted to $2.95 million.

Bangalow Real Estate agent Gary Brazenor marketed the eight-bedroom Possum Creek retreat which comes with an 18 metre pool.

The family paid $2.93 million for the 1.6 hectare property in 2014 after it had been listed with $3.8 million hopes.

The 2005-built home was constructed by local builder Tim Sharpe amid its 100-year-old fig trees.

Tredenick resides in Sydney, overlooking Hyde Park.
