Now based back in Melbourne as a coach, former Sydney Swans premiership winner Rhyce Shaw and his wife Lia have sold their redundant Maroubra townhouse.

The couple secured the $1,225,000 sale pre-auction, having paid $870,000 at the end of the 2014 season — a year before Shaw retired and became an assistant coach.

The two-level property in a renovated art deco block of six has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a landscaped garden.

Belle Property Bondi Junction’s Lucas McKay sold the unit in three weeks.
