The former managing director of Goldman Sachs Australia Robert Tsenin and wife Estelle have bought a weekender in Pearl Beach.

They've paid $3.45 million for an architecturally designed home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a home office. It was offered through PRDnationwide agent Stuart Gan.

The purchase comes after their Killcare Heights weekender sold for $1.45 million having been listed through Belle agent Cathy Baker with $1.7 million hopes.

They paid $1.47 million in 2003 when it was bought from prominent interior designer Thomas Hamel and antique dealer Martyn Cook.

The Tsenin's are based in a Sydney Wharf penthouse that cost $6,595,000 in 2014.
