Recently departed senior Coles executive George Dymond is selling his luxury Brighton home.

Dymond, who was previously the merchandise director at the supermarket giant until earlier this year, paid $3.99 million for the Atkinson Pontifex-built entertainer in 2014.

Set on 1,115 square metres, the home has five bedrooms and a study across its two levels.

In the grounds is a salt-water solar heated swimming pool and a self-contained summer house with windows of walls.

Nick Johnstone Real Estate Brighton agents Kris Barker and Matt Cleverdon have $4.9 million to $5.39 million hopes at its July 27 auction.

Dymond spent two decades at Coles before turning to independent consultancy six months ago.
