Former boxer Barry Michael lists first property as estate agent

The former world champion boxer Barry Michael has become an estate agent, listing his mate’s Patterson Lakes pad in what he says is the start of a new career. 

The Australian National Boxing Hall of Fame inductee said he’d previously worked on large-scale subdivisions through his business Barry Michael Property Group, but had now decided to concentrate on selling homes across Melbourne

Michael has just listed 96 North Shore Drive for private sale, with a price guide of $1.8 million, The Herald Sun advised. It has a 50m boat berth that’s worth $125,000 itself, he said.

The 62-year-old was best known for winning the International Boxing Federation super featherweight title over Lester Ellis in 1985.
