Former 60 Minutes reporter Ian Leslie finally sells at Lovett Bay
The former 60 Minutes reporter Ian Leslie and his wife, Jan, have finally sold their Lovett Bay home.
Listed with initial $3.5 million plus hopes, the Pittwater 1920s three bedroom cottage on about 3050 square metres fetched $2.99 million through LJ Hooker.
They have been based on Bona Crescent on Pittwater's western foreshore since 1992 when they paid $685,000.
Leslie, who was one of the original reporters on the television public-affairs program, traveled the world for 12 years, reporting in many war zones.
He once said he wanted peace and tranquility for his home, and he found that on Pittwater.
The restored heritage 1920s waterfront home with boat-access only adjoins a national park.
