The fashion designer Collette Dinnigan has shown her passion for Paddington property again.
She's paid $2,225,000 for a reinvented 1900s Victorian terrace on Brown Street.
The home was immediately up for rent through BresicWhitney on settlement.
She was asking $1,200 for the home, which would reflect a 2.8 percent yield, with it tenanted within a week.
The designer home was reconfigured to two bedrooms from three bedrooms after it last traded for $2 million just 10 months ago.
Di Jones agents Jane Schumann and Gary Sands sold the home which features twin fireplaces in the dining room.
Dinnigan and her tourism industry entrepreneur husband Bradley Cocks have announced intentions to launch a Bespoke Homes accomodation website, implementing grand plans as international boutique tourism operators.
Dinnigan is now concentrating on interiors and property development with Cocks, reckoning the world of interiors is not too dissimilar to fashion.
Earlier this year they bought the Georgian-era Paddington cottage of Collette's brother, the creative director Seamus Dinnigan.
They paid $1,925,000 for the 1850s home spanning just 70 sqm.
Tthey have also quietly picked up a 1915 Darling Point offering which could headline the local rental offerings.
The couple are seeking to sell one of their two Milton, South Coast weekenders through Unique Estates agent Simon Platt at $2.4 million since they recently snapped up Springfield Farm, a European-style abode at Avoca in the Southern Highlands.
