A 16 hectare equestrian estate, described as a horse haven in its marketing, has been listed for sale.

Set in the Kerrie Valley on "drought proof land", the property features facilities including a 70x30 arena, 800 metre sand track and polo-day yards.

There is stabling for seven horses, a tack room and wash bays.

A four bedroom homestead with outlooks from every room sits on the parcel.

Abercrombys agents Jock Langley and Emma Pierson have set a November 19 auction.

The property last traded for $1 million in 2000.
