The longtime property developer Denis Ellerker has found a buyer for his Georgian-style home in Neutral Bay.

The 42 Shellcove Road home, with includes harbour views, was designed by Michael Suttor Architects.

There are interiors by Michael Love and gardens by Tony Ward Landscape Design

It had been marketed at $8 million. It is one of only a handful of homes in the suburb with a tennis court.

It hit the market in October last year shortly after Mr Ellerker secured his apartment in the arts and crafts-style Darling Point mansion, Babworth House for $11 million from Jane Clarke, the widow of the late Macquarie Bank co-founder David Clarke.
