The penthouse at Darnley Hall, Elizabeth Bay has returned to the market.

It was previously briefly listed by Paul Longmuir and his wife Elain Wei Ah Kwan in 2016 with $10 million hopes.

The international style penthouse last sold nine years ago for $8.1 million.

It was one of the homes where the former Treasurer Joe Hockey signalled forced divestment after the owners came forward in an amnesty on supposed purchases that breached our FIRB laws.

The Longmuirs have since spent $16 million buying in Bellevue Hill, fully complying with foreign investment rules, and it seems their initial purchase has now been signed off as ridgy didge too.

The penthouse renovation was overseen by the interior designer Tonka Andjelkovic.
