A historic Monaro grazing and farming property, held by the same family for five generations, has sold for $4,630,000.

Known as Curry Flat, it is located on Springfield Road, south of Nimmitabel. 

The property comprises of roughly 3,118 acres. 

It features a five-bedroom homestead, and an original two-bedroom cottage. 

Securely fenced into 20 paddocks and a central laneway, it also includes a five-stand shearing shed and yards, cattle yards, machinery storage, a hay shed, two creeks, bore & livestock troughs, ten dams, and an aircraft hanger. 

The home was owned by the Jardine family for five generations, before being sold in 207 for $830,272 - One fifth of its recent sale price.
