Cricketer Steve O’Keefe has sold both his residential new-build investment properties in Mudgee.

The Manly-based O’Keefe, who has a property portfolio across the country, bought the building-block opportunity in 2013 for $169,000.

He subdivided the 840 square metre corner plot, set south of the town, and built a home on each block.

He got $355,000 for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home on 402 square metres, which has been a $360-a-week rental. The home next door on 435 square metres fetched $347,000.

McGrath Central Tablelands agent Lucas Sheppard secured the sale for the long-time Sydney Sixer.

O’Keefe, among the top wicket-takers over the summer, has owned a two-bedroom Manly apartment since paying $921,500 off the plan in 2011.

He also has four properties just outside of Brisbane, in Kingston, Marsden, Waverley and Raceview.

His portfolio is at the cheaper end of the market, unlike former Test teammates Steve Smith and David Warner, who have stuck to pricier Sydney.
