A Collingwood church conversion has become the most expensive house to sell in Melbourne’s inner north.

Nelson Alexander Fitzroy selling agent Arch Staver confirmed had achieved the highest figure paid for a single dwelling in an inner-north suburb.
The Herald Sun suggested the inner north’s benchmark reported house price had been the $5.22 million fetched by 1032 Drummond St, Carlton North in June. But it’s understood a Fitzroy property had recently sold off market for a figure above that.

It operated as the Holy Virgins Protection Russian Orthodox Church from 1958.
