Cleveland, the 1885 Darling Point residence of Dr Barry Barker, has been listed with $9 million plus hopes.

Built in 1885 by Robert Tooth, the seven bedroom, four bathroom trophy home has been renovated since it was last sold in 1996 for $2.35 million by the lawyer David Somervaille.

It was previously sold at $3.5 million in 1988 and then in 1994 for $2.1 million.

It is listed with Ray White Double Bay agent Evan Williams.
