The Edge, Port Douglas, a hillside Charles Wright designed trophy home, has been listed with a $7.4 million asking price.

The 555-square-metre single-level home located at the northern tip of Port Douglas was built for the late Sydney industrialist Peter Graham and his wife Claire.

It has been listed through Raine & Horne Port Douglas agent Barbara Wolveridge.

The Edge received a regional commendation by the Australian Institute of Architects in its 2015 awards, now up for Queensland home of the year, designed like an outdoor shell with cantilevered roof. It won the 2015 Queensland Architecture Awards, Eddie Oribin Award for Building of the Year, FNQ Region.

The house has two bedrooms and four bathrooms with a wet edge pool.

The Charles Wright-designed house was completed in June 2014.

It is offered fully furnished.
