Channel 7 Sunrise presenter Sam Armytage has sold her North Bondi home of the past six years.

It comes after the news of engagement to the equestrian businessman Richard Lavender.

The breakfast television presenter - who now works just four days a week - intends to downsize with plans to spend more time in her beloved Southern Highlands.

Marketed as laid back luxury with a breezy beach feel, the three bedroom home had $2.8 million hopes for its late July auction. It sold for around $3.2 million.

There's been no extensive renovation for the home that cost $2.15 million in 2014, just as the Sydney price-boom was kicking in to gear, although she's modernised the two level, freestanding house.

These days Armytage is preferring life away from Sydney with her fiancee, Lavender, who she began dating last year after meeting at a party in the Highlands.

Lavender has a 40 hectare farm at Berrima which cost $1.95 million in 2007.

Her own weekender cost $2.2 million in 2017, with local agents anticipating the weekender could be listed as they move into together.

Her North Bondi home has a number of alfresco living areas and a level landscaped garden, complete with a striking sandstone wall.

The ground level is dedicated to living and entertaining, with three bedroom upstairs where there are ocean views.
