Central Queensland's Dalga Station sold
The Dalga Station in central Queensland has been sold for around $6 million through Elders.
Boyne Valley property Dalga has sold after auction for an undisclosed figure to Bill and Sue Rossey from Gaeta, north west of Gin Gin.
Dalga is estimated to run 1500-1700 breeders.
It was passed in at $5.87 million with four of the five registered bidders active at the auction.
Located 100Km South of Gladstone, 130Km North West of Bundaberg, it has a total freehold of 7,674 hectare plus leasehold land and grazing permits.
Several paddocks border the Kolan River.
Included in the sale are 1,000 Grey Brahman breeders with the property well positioned to take advantage of the strong cattle markets within the Boyne Valley, Callide and Fitzroy regions and is also strategically located to make full use of the strong southern feedlot markets.
