Cate Blanchett sells Hunters Hill riverfront

Actor Cate Blanchett and director husband Andrew Upton have snappily sold their 1877 heritage listed Sydney home Bulwarra at circa $20 million. 

They purchased the sandstone riverfront Hunters Hill trophy home in 2004 for $10.2 million, then renovated.

The celebrity couple are preparing to move overseas.

Bulwarra, on 3,642 square metres, has five bedrooms that open to a verandah overlooking the water. A master retreat is housed in a private wing

The property was marketed through through Christie's International in a campaign overseen by Sydney buyers' agency Sydney Slice. It has been reported Savills' Adam Ross was involved in the sale.
