Californian modern 1940s Eaglemont home sold
Title TattleSeptember 16, 2019

An Eaglemont home designed in the late 1940s by Robert G Warren, who was influenced by the Case Study school of Californian modernism, has been sold.

It's currently home of ARM Architecture director Jesse Judd, who paid $925,000 12 years ago.

The four bedroom family home has been reinterpreted with classic 1950s signatures, notably a glazed brick entrance wall, a pixelated tribute to Howard Arkley's iconic 'Suburban Exterior'.

It sits in 870 square metres in the Burley Griffin-designed Glenard Estate.

Nelson Alexander Ivanhoe agents Liz Walker and Peter Stephens had a guide of $2.25 million to $2.45 million.

Jesse Judd joined ARM in 1995 as an undergrad student.
