A five bedroom in Burwood, one of the most tightly held Federation enclaves in Sydney, has sold for $4.85 million.

It was sold by Sebastian Bonaccorso and Tony Licastro from Elders Inner West.

The home was motive a heritage offering.

Over a 1,800sqm site with wide 26m frontage and dual circular driveways,  the 18 Appian Way home features five bedrooms.

There are a ballroom-size living and dining space, plus kitchen with adjoining casual meals area and family room.

It also comes with on-site parking for multiple vehicles and boat plus garage and undercover patio/carport.

It is only a short stroll to Burwood shopping, eateries, train station and elite schools.
