A new strata-titled warehouse development, in Burleigh Heads, is just under 50% sold-out despite still being under construction.

Zac Potter, who's company developed the project, says the sales are "reflective of a growing trend for upmarket urban industrial units, for people to store their prized vehicles and other toys, run small businesses or set up an office."

The $6.5 million Business Centre, at 3 Flagstone Drive, comprises 18 warehouses ranging in size from 70 square metres to 150 square metres.

Seven units have already sold for a combined value of approximately $2.6 million, at a rate of $3,200 per square metre.
