Queensland architect Shane Thompson and his former wife Sally have listed in Brisbane's Chandler.

The 177 Eastwood Street offering comes with a transformed 1950s cottage.

The house – with a deck overlooking a lily pond – has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The 2.4-hectare lot has been listed by One Agency.

The property is next to 1000 hectares of bushland reserve, just 14.5 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.

The couple fully renovated the cottage, re-lining walls, putting in a new kitchen and bathroom and sourcing recycled floorboards and second-hand doors and windows.
