Manly-Warringah fullback Brett Stewart has sold his Balgowlah house having achieved his hopes of $1.35 million-plus.

The four-bedroom townhouse, with water glimpses, sold this week pre-auction.

It cost $1.33 million in late 2011.

It had been scheduled for 4 May auction through Anthony Calacoci of Belle Property Manly.

The three storey Nield Avenue townhouse duplex was built five years ago.

The News Ltd local paper, The Manly Daily reported its sale.

The Sea Eagles says the sale was about downsizing, with the likelihood he would be remaining in Balgowlah.
