The penthouse crowning the brand new, sold out Tim Gurner-developed Albert Place in Melbourne has been listed for sale following its completion earlier this year.

Gurner's development firm created the David Hicks-designed penthouse in the Elenberg Fraser-designed tower at 7 Bowen Crescent.

It has never been lived in.

Offering views across the city skyline, Port Phillips Bay and Albert Park Lake, the apartment features its own lobby style entrance foyer with dark stained parquetry floors.

That leads to the open plan living, dining and entertaining space surround by 270 degree full height glass.

The living area extends out to a private terrace.

There are three bedrooms, including the master with a dressing room and marble ensuite.

A curved staircase, and lift, lead to the second level where there's a potential fourth between, with another marble bathroom and a fitted home office.

Marshall White Stonnington agents Nicholas Hoo and Mark Harris have the listing.

Albert Place comprises 140 apartments, which was originally 160 but a number of downsizers decided to buy more than one apartment and amalgamate to create a larger residence.

They sold 97 per cent of the apartments within the first two weeks of launching back in 2017.

The sub penthouse was leased earlier this year at $5,000 a week.
