Ramsay Health Care chief Chris Rex and wife Lynette have sold their Bondi Beach penthouse.

It was only last March that they bought it from the accountant Anthony Bell $7.35 million.

A guide of $8 million was offered by the McGrath agent Bethwyn Richards.

Set in The Bondi, the 395 sqm apartment with 150 sqm rooftop had been recently leased at $3,750 a week.

The long-time Bronte locals retained their hilltop home of almost two decades instead of making the move.
