The Dude abides, but not here anymore. The Venice, California property made famous as the abode of Jeff Bridges' stoner The Dude in the 1998 movie The Big Lebowski is up for sale. The property at 606-608 Venezia Avenue comprises six one-bedroom cottages, and fans of the Coen brothers' popular comedy will be glad to know that it has been renovated since that unfortunate rug incident. The cottages have had new roofs and a new sewer line put in, so we guess Jeff Lebowski wouldn't even recognise the place anymore, were his head re-flushed. Bulldog Realtors agents Winston Cenac and Golda Savage are marketing the property as prime for subdividing, with $2,295,000 hopes.
