The former Wallabies and Brumbies captain Ben Mowan has listed his Holland Park investment property in Brisbane's southeast.

Mowan paid $667,000 in 2008 for the 1930s property which goes to auction June 4 through Space Property agent Adam Nobel.

The flanker played in Brisbane for most of his career but headed to France to play for Montpellier in 2014.

The renovated three bedroom, three bathroom contemporary home has two home office spaces and an extensive covered patio beside the fully fenced terrace garden.

Mowan rented the home listing it for $650 a week in 2013.

He said that the home is a "cracking property".

“It really is a great home for a family or people who love spreading out their living over two levels,” Mowen told the local paper.

“Our favourite space is definitely the open kitchen and servery window onto the large deck.
