The first stage of a new masterplanned community north-east of Brisbane’s CBD in Banyo, titled Summerlin, includes 26 high-quality townhouses with the development eventually featuring apartments and over 4000 square metres of communal park area with pool and gym.

Summerlin’s Stage 1 release is scheduled for completion by mid-2017. Stages 2a and 2b, which involve the completion of two apartment buildings and the central park, will follow shortly after.

According to Rothelowman senior associate Lawson Royes, said the townhouses have been designed as a lightweight construction.

Dennis Family Corporation Queensland sales manager Ben Langfield says master-planned infill developments present a viable alternative to house and land developments in fringe suburbs.

“By providing access to transport corridors and inner-city amenities we can provide civic infrastructure and easy access to the CBD at an entry-level price,” he said.
